On behalf of our client, we are looking for a driven Maintenance Technician E who feels at home in a dynamic production environment. You are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of the machinery on an electrical level, but you are also willing to assist your mechanical (W) colleagues where necessary.
What will you do? As a Maintenance Technician E, you are a crucial link in ensuring an efficient and trouble-free production process. Your duties include a wide range of electrical tasks, such as:
- Maintenance: Independently performing preventive and corrective maintenance on various machines and installations;
- Troubleshooting: Detecting and resolving electrical malfunctions, both mechanical and control-related;
- Analysis: Analyzing the causes of failures and implementing improvements to prevent recurrence;
- Technical Drawings: Reading and interpreting E&W (Electrical & Mechanical) drawings and schematics;
- PLC Systems: Programming and troubleshooting PLC systems (preferably Siemens and/or Mitsubishi);
- Inspections: Carrying out inspections and tests in accordance with NEN 3140 and/or NEN 1010 standards;
- Documentation: Recording performed work and findings in reports;
- Collaboration: Assisting mechanical colleagues with various maintenance and repair tasks;
- Optimization: Contributing ideas for and implementing technical improvements to the machinery.
Job requirements
We are looking for a proactive and independent team player with an open and accurate work attitude. You are stress-resistant, have a strong drive to improve processes, and possess a flexible mindset. Additionally, you have:
- A completed MBO Electrical Engineering degree (Level 4);
- Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with NEN 3140 and/or NEN 1010;
- A valid VCA certificate;
- Experience with PLC technology (preferably Siemens and/or Mitsubishi);
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding);
- The ability to read and understand E&W drawings;
- Basic skills in Excel and Word;
- A valid Category B driver's license.
