Job description
As a Testing & Calibration Technician, you are responsible for calibrating, adjusting, overhauling, repairing, and maintaining the process analysis equipment of our client’s customers, as well as instrumentation and calibration equipment.
You play a crucial role in guaranteeing the accuracy and reliability of these systems. Additionally, you are focused on building and maintaining a strong customer-supplier relationship by providing excellent service and support.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Calibration and Adjustment: Performing precise calibrations and adjustments of process analysis and measuring instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintenance and Repair: Carrying out preventive maintenance and resolving malfunctions in instrumentation and calibration equipment.
- Overhaul: Analyzing and overhauling equipment to extend its lifespan and increase reliability.
- Documentation: Keeping detailed reports of performed work and findings.
- Customer Relations: Actively maintaining and strengthening relationships with customers through professional communication during service delivery.
- Advice and Support: Advising customers on the use and maintenance of equipment and supporting them with technical queries.
- Safety: Adhering to all safety regulations and contributing to a safe working environment.
Job requirements
- Education: Completed MBO-4 degree in Electrical Engineering, Measurement and Control Engineering (Meet- en Regeltechniek), or a similar field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Knowledge:
- Thorough knowledge of process analysis equipment and calibration techniques.
- Knowledge of the operation of customer installations and customer-specific equipment.
- Knowledge of specific supporting software.
- Skills:
- Technical insight and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read drawings and electrical/electronic schematics.
- Measuring electrical and mechanical quantities: pressure, temperature, flow, voltage, current, resistance.
- Working with calibration, analysis, and process control equipment.
- Other:
- In possession of a Category B driver's license.
- Experience with Word, Excel, and Windows.
- Willingness to work at various locations.
