As a Service & Installation Engineer, you are involved from A to Z in the implementation and performance of our systems for clients both domestically and abroad.
Your responsibilities include:
- Installation of new systems: Installing state-of-the-art machines and systems, both independently and in teams, at various locations worldwide;
- Commissioning: Guiding and realizing the successful startup of newly installed machinery at customer sites;
- Technical testing: Conducting thorough technical and functional tests to guarantee correct system operation;
- Customer training: Providing instructions and training to customers so they can utilize our products optimally;
- Customer relationship management: Acting as the technical point of contact and, alongside the project manager, contributing to a strong and stable client relationship;
- Maintenance and troubleshooting: Performing both preventive and corrective maintenance and resolving technical malfunctions quickly and efficiently;
- Problem analysis and improvement: Analyzing technical issues, identifying root causes, and proactively proposing improvements for products and processes.
Job requirements
- A completed technical degree (MBO level) in Electronics or a related field;
- Demonstrable knowledge of and affinity with mechanical engineering;
- Knowledge of Siemens PLC control systems is a valuable asset;
- Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken). Knowledge of German, French, and/or Spanish is a plus;
- Ability to handle assignments and technical challenges independently from start to finish;
- Strong communication skills, active listening, and a persuasive advisory style;
- A practical, "hands-on" mindset;
- Punctual and reliable in meeting commitments;
- Possession of a valid Category B driver's license;
- Willingness to travel regularly, both within the Netherlands and internationally.
