Job description

As a Pipefitter, you are a craftsman specialized in the fabrication, assembly, and disassembly of piping. You are a crucial link in various industrial projects, particularly within the petrochemical sector, as well as in workshop environments.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication & Assembly: Responsible for the correct and safe installation, connection, and disassembly of piping systems;
  • Independent Measurement: Ability to perform measurements independently to ensure a perfect fit for all piping components;
  • Technical Drawings: Reading and interpreting ISO drawings to determine the layout and installation requirements;
  • Quality Control: Working with charge numbers (heat numbers) to ensure material traceability and quality monitoring;
  • Tack Welding: Applying tack welding techniques to temporarily secure components before final welding;
  • Material Knowledge: Expertise in working with various materials, specifically carbon steel and stainless steel (RVS);
  • Industry Standards: Operating according to the specific requirements and strict safety regulations of the petrochemical industry;
  • Safety Protocols: Acting in accordance with work permits and performing LMRA (Last Minute Risk Analysis) to ensure a secure workplace.

Job requirements

  • Available for 38 to 40 hours per week;
  • Relevant work experience or an MBO degree in a technical field;
  • VCA Basic certificate is a requirement;
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to take on varied tasks;
  • No fear of heights;
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work well in a team.
