Job description
As a Flange Fitter, you are a specialized technician focusing on the assembly and disassembly of flange connections in piping systems. These connections are essential in various industrial environments, particularly in the petrochemical industry, shipbuilding, and other sectors where piping plays a crucial role.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Disassembly of Flange Connections: This is the core of your work. You ensure that pipes are safely and correctly connected to one another.
- Component Installation: Installing and removing valves, fittings, and appendages within the piping systems.
- Safety Compliance: Safety is of paramount importance in the petrochemical industry. You are familiar with and act according to strict safety regulations.
- Work Permits and LMRA: You understand the importance of work permits and perform Last Minute Risk Analyses (LMRA) to minimize risks.
- Technical Drawings: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings to understand the configuration of the installation.
Job requirements
- Available for 38 to 40 hours per week;
- Relevant work experience or an MBO degree in a technical field;
- VCA Basic certificate is required;
- Certificate for Working on Flange Connections according to protocol (WFPR) is a requirement;
- Flexible attitude and versatility;
- No fear of heights;
- Strong collaborative skills and team spirit.
