As an E&I Technician, you are a vital link in the proper functioning of many industrial processes. You specialize in electrotechnical equipment, installations, and systems. Below is an overview of what this position entails:
What does an E&I Technician do?
- Electrotechnical Systems: You are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical installations, ranging from complex industrial systems to building-related installations.
- Measurement and Control Systems: You work with systems that measure and regulate processes, which are essential for the efficiency and safety of industrial operations.
- Industrial Environment: You work mainly in the industry, where you deal with various electrotechnical challenges.
Your tasks:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance;
- Identifying and resolving malfunctions;
- Calibrating instruments;
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings;
- Monitoring and inspecting the safety of installations.
Job requirements
- Availability for 38 to 40 hours per week;
- A completed MBO degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably Level 4;
- Knowledge of measurement & control technology (e.g., PIT-1, PIT-2, and PIT-3 / Level 3 or 4) and low-voltage standards (NEN-EN 50110-1 / NEN 3140);
- Knowledge of and experience with control systems;
- Several years of relevant work experience in an industrial environment;
- Possession of VCA-VOL (or willingness to obtain it).
