As a Construction Fitter, you will independently perform assembly work based on technical drawings. You will (dis)assemble, align, measure, straighten, inspect, and commission projects. Additionally, you will perform welding, drilling, grinding, torch-cutting, punching, and cutting tasks while operating various machinery.

As a Construction Fitter, you are a versatile craftsman who works independently from construction plans and/or technical drawings. Your role involves a wide range of tasks, from complex assembly to diverse metalworking techniques.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assembly Work: Responsible for the (dis)assembly, alignment, measurement, straightening, inspection, and commissioning of structures and components. This requires high precision and strong technical insight.
- Metalworking: Performing various techniques such as welding, drilling, grinding, torch-cutting, punching, and cutting. You are capable of setting up and adjusting various machines to perform these tasks correctly.
- Blueprint Reading: Working directly from technical drawings and schematics, which requires excellent interpretation skills to ensure the work meets all specifications.
- Independence: Executing tasks entirely independently, which demands a high degree of responsibility and self-reliance.
Job requirements
- Availability: 32 to 40 hours per week;
- Background: Relevant work experience or an MBO degree in a technical field;
- Certification: VCA Basic is a plus;
- Skills: Proficient in reading technical drawings;
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
